Mathilde was admitted to the Order at November Coronet in Bordescros AS XXXV by the hands of Boris and Constance acting for Uther and Osa.

Mistress Mathilde is also a companion of the Laurel since AS XXXII.

Mathilde is the eldest daughter of a Cornish 'tin' miner who, after learning how to look after the mine as well as herself, left Cornwall and went to live in Venice. There she indulges herself outrageously in clothing and music...She met her husband Stephen Aldred(thank god, finally those children have a father) in Venice while he was employed as a guard at the Doges palace. Actually, it was while he was escaping from the Doges palace after a 'misunderstanding' about the Doges daughter. But we need not go into that too closely. ..Mathilde and Stephen have three children, Rufus who is squired to Sir Corin, Michael who just stands around looking large and Robert who has proved his usefulness as a clothing test dummy time and time again...After a brief, but very exciting time, as Baron and Baroness Politarchopolis the family now maintain a movable household in both Mynheniot and Venice. Perhaps even more movable than most if Stephen starts experimenting with period stage effects!!..
