XXXIX  katherine and Grace Kerr I am a Scottish Borderer, born in Venice of an Italian mother and Scottish mercenary. My father took me home with him as a young child when my mother died, and I grew up in the Border fortress of the Hermitage. I went to live in Edinburgh, and the year in common reckoning is 1566, with mary Stuart on the throne of Scotland (though not for much longer I'd wager, given her behaviour.... I've been in the Laurel Kingdoms for the past 25 years, living under the crescent moons of Caid and latterly in Lochac as a Crescent Islander. My lord, Bartholomew Baskin, and I have three children and a barony to look after. Protégés:None, and probably not likely to be while I am Baroness of Southron Gaard, as that takes a lot of time and energy.Current Interests:I have a wide-ranging set of interests which includes all sorts of things -- bardic arts (which includes poetry and story-telling and the dramatickal arts as well as simply singing) and all manner of entertainments. I am working on producing a range of maps from 12-15th century as part of my efforts to operate an electronic Elizabethan print shop producing other materials including chapbooks (such as The Scurrilous Rag, playbills, almanacs and other amusing and educational items.As the mother of three children who have grown up in the SCA, I am also strongly interested in children´s activities, programmes to develop them into thinking contributing members of society (in general), and having fun with the kids whereever and whenever possible.
