Master Cristoval was elevated at the same time as Mistress Alethea, at a collegium weekend in Torlyon in AS XXXV.

Cristoval joined the SCA in Stormhold in 1984 . He was Master of Arts in Stormhold, and was awarded a Rose Leaf for cooking.He moved to Politarchopolis in late 1985, just in time to co-autocrat the second Principality investiture with Kiriel. This was a mixed success, including an episode where a flaming goose slid off the serving platter and slid down most of High Table before landing in the lap of a duchess. Cristoval became the 4th Seneschal of Politarchopolis. He established the Griffintayle newsletter and designed the polit heraldic device. Later, Cristoval moved to Yass and was founding seneschal of Torlyon. Cristoval is currently Chancellor of the Exchequer for Lochac, and is active in the emerging Canton of Okewaite (Goulburn NSW).
